1 1/2 Cups Flour
      1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
      1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar
      1/4 Cup Water
      2/3 Cup Butter

1 (12 oz) Semisweet Chocolate Chips
      2 Teaspoons Vanilla

4 Large Eggs
1 (12 oz) Dark Chocolate Chips
      1 Cup Walnuts, chopped

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.  Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl and set aside.  Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.

2. Combine the sugar, water, & butter in a saucepan.  Cook and stir over medium heat until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved.  Remove from the heat and stir in one bag of chocolate chips until the chocolate has melted.  Add the vanilla and beat in the eggs one at at time until smooth.

3. Blend together the chocolate and flour mixtures.  Add the dark chocolate chips and walnuts, and mix together well.  Pour into prepared pan.

4. Bake 40 minutes or until top is dry and edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.  Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Lemon Crinkles

Ingredients:

3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl until thoroughly combined.  In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, about 5 minutes.  Next, beat in the eggs, one at a time, incorporating each before adding the next.  Beat in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla.  Gently mix in the flour mixture until just incorporated.  Chill the dough about 30 minutes.

Form dough into balls and roll in powdered sugar.  Place the balls onto baking sheets about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven until the cookies are set and just beginning to brown at the edges, about 8 minutes.  Cool on baking sheets for 1 minute before removing to finish cooling on racks.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.  Roll dough into one inch balls.  Coat each ball in powdered sugar before placing it onto the cookie sheet.
